Biosketch

Xiaojun received the B.Eng degrees in Information Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, P.R. China, in June 1998. He also obtained his MPhil. Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in August 2000. Then, he received his Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in August 2008. From September 2008, he has joined the Internet Technology and Engineering R&D Center of the Department of Electronics and Information Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, P.R. China. He is now an associate professor in the Department of Electronics and Information Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Between September 2005 and September 2007, he worked on P2P networking in the Department of Computer and Information Science, Polytechnic University. He is co-author (with Yong Liu and Keith W. Ross ) of the best paper in multimedia communications for 2008 awarded by the Multimedia Communications Technical Committee of the IEEE Communications Society.
