I have been pursuing my Ph.D degree
in the
Department of Computer and
Information Science at
Polytechnic University
since 2001. I received my bachelor degree in Computer Science
from Department of
Computer Science and Technology of
Northern Jiaotong University in Beijing. Before joining
Polytechnic University in the Fall of 2001, I had one year's
teaching experience at the
training center of China Computer
Software and Technology Corporation in Beijing. My teaching
courses involved the Microsoft Certificated Software Engineer(MCSE)
and Sun certificated Java Programmer.
My research interests include Web search technology, algorithms and
information retrieval. I am currently working in the
Web Exploration and Search
Technology Lab. My Ph.D work is advised by Prof.
Torsten Suel. My current
concentration is on Web search technology, specified at the ranking
algorithms of search engines and link analysis of the Web graph.
