How to add your site to search engine & sitemap

1. Search Engine:

All course web pages that are in CIS server are added to the search engine by default. The search engine can also look for your homepages that are in CIS server, if you would like a homepage to be indexed by the search engine please email your CIS username and the directory where the files are to webmaster@cis.poly.edu

Please note, to avoid password protected files being indexed by the search engine keep them in your homepage. DO NOT KEEP password protected files in directories of any course pages.

2. Sitemap:

To add your pages to the sitemap please email the full path of your files in the server and where they fit on the sitemap to webmaster@cis.poly.edu Your web pages must be on CIS (cis.poly.edu) server and the HTML page should have a <title></title> tag.
