NSF Career Grant Awarded to Prof. Brönnimann

Hervé Brönnimann, Assistant Professor of Computer Science, has been
awarded a 2002 NSF Career Grant for his work on geometric computing.
The grant is awarded annually to the most promising junior researchers
to support their research for up to 5 years. Prof. Brönnimann's grant
proposal was titled "Generic Software Foundations for Geometric Computing",
and his grant constitutes the 7th Career Grant awarded to faculty in the
department over the last few years.
