CIS receives PhD Fellowships from Department of Education

The CIS Department at Polytechnic University has received several PhD Fellowships from the US Department of Education. These fellowships were awarded on a competitive basis by the Graduate As sistance in Areas of National Need (GAANN) program, which provides financial support for outstanding students who plan to pursue a PhD in selected fields of study identified as areas of national need.

Note that GAANN F ellowships are restricted to US citizens and permanent residents, but other forms of fellowships and support are also available for international applicants. Applicants can apply for the GAANN Fellowships and other forms of support directly on the applica tion forms for the PhD program -- no separate forms are required.
