The US Department of Education has awarded a Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need (GAANN) grant of $498,132 to Polytechnic University. The purpose of the grant is to increase the production of American PhD graduates in the sciences and engineering. The grant will provide three years of full support for four doctoral students in the Department of Computer and Information Science who are US citizens or permanent residents.
The principal investigator of the grant is Prof. John Iacono and the co-principal investigator is Prof. Alex Delis.
