Dr. Nasir Memon, Professor of Computer Science, was recently interviewed
for a segment on NBC Nightly News about steganography, a field that deals
with hiding information in images, audio, and other content. The segment
aired on June 28 as part of the national news program and can be viewed
here.

The U.S. National Security Agency has designated Poly as a Center of
Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education. Polytechnic is the
first school in New York City to receive the designation. Dr. Memon, an
expert in cyberspace security, is the director of the center, and a
leading international authority of steganography.
