The Best Paper Award at the 14th International World Wide Web Conference in Chiba, Japan, was awarded to Computer Science PhD student Xiaohui Long and faculty member Torsten Suel for their paper on "Three-Level Caching for Efficient Query Processing in Large Web Search Engines". The World Wide Web Conference is the leading annual conference on research related to the Web, and the paper was chosen from 77 papers selected from over 500 submissions.
