The inaugural meeting of a new
NSF-sponsored Industry/University Cooperative
Research Center on wireless technology based at Polytechnic will take
place on Friday, October 8. The center
will focus
on applied research in wireless networking and wireless and mobile
computing and applications, and involves researchers from Polytechnic
and
Columbia University plus several companies that have signed up as
members.
The meeting will feature presentations and discussions on
wireless
technology and potential for university/industry cooperation, and
interested faculty, students, or members of local industry are welcome
to
