Posted 10/01/02

Update: click here for details on the presentations.

Friday, October 4, 11am - 1:45pm
LC 102, Brooklyn Campus, Polytechnic University

The Computer and Information Science Department is hosting a research showcase where faculty members will present their research to interested students and other members of the Polytechnic community. The event consists of short informal presentations (from 5 to 10 minutes each) by faculty members about their research, with a break for coffee and sandwiches.

The purpose of the event is to introduce new graduate students, as well as current graduate and undergraduate students, to the research activities in the department. This is also a great opportunity for students in the BS/MS and BS programs to learn about possible topics for MS Theses and individual Senior Projects, or other chances to participate in research.

Seating is limited, so we would appreciate if you could send us an email if you plan to attend. To do so, send a message with title "showcase" and your name to suel@poly.edu (mailto).
