Prof. Shooman Publishes Textbook on Computer Reliability and Fault Tolerances

Prof. Martin Shooman has published a new textbook titled "RELIABILITY OF COMPUTER SYSTEMS AND NETWORKS: FAULT TOLERANCE, ANALYSIS, DESIGN". The book, published by John Wiley and Sons in January 2002, presents the fundamentals of reliability and availability analysis for various computer hardware, software, and networked systems. Prof. Shooman, a Fellow of the IEEE, has won 5 best paper awards from the Reliability and Computer Societies, and consults for NASA, the US Army, Lockheed Martin, IBM, AT&T, SAIC and many others. He is also the author of two other widely used textbooks, "Probabilistic Reliability: An Engineering Approach" and "Software Engineering: Reliability, Design, Management".
