I am a Ph.D. student in Computer and Information Science
Department at Polytechnic
University in Brooklyn, New York. My advisor is Prof. Torsten Suel. I received
my bachelor degree from Peking University
in 1999 and my master degree from Graduate
School of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2002.
From 2000 to 2002, I worked
as a research assistant at National Science
Library. Now I work at Web Exploration and Search Technology Lab as a research
assistant. My research interests include web search engines, information
retrieval, and databases, as well as peer-to-peer networks. My most recent work is
focused on high performance index architecture on large scale web search
engines and optimized query processing in distributed environment.
I joined Amazon in January, 2008.
